Like most 12 year old boys, Jack Tracy likes to play video games, swim with his friends and play sports. Hannah Liu is a fun loving 12-year old who likes watching tv, swimming and traveling with her family. Do visions of sugarplums… or mice, or angels… dance in your child’s head? Young performers age 7 and up are eligible to audition for roles in Ballet Nebraska’s production of The Nutcracker to be presented November 30 at the IWCC Arts Center in Council Bluffs and December 2 at the Omaha Music Hall. Ballet Nebraska II and Repertory Ensemble Auditions for 2012-13

Ballet Nebraska held open auditions on May 18 for the ballet’s second company, Ballet Nebraska II (BNII) as well as its senior and junior Repertory Ensembles for the upcoming 2012-13 season at Motion 41 Dance. Auditions for BNII included advanced/pre-professional level ballet students from the community ages 14 and up. Pointe work demonstrations were required for all young women who auditioned.
