Company dancer Erin Alarcón moved to Omaha in 2010 to dance as an apprentice with Ballet Nebraska in its debut season. Meet Sasha York

Originally from Chelyabinsk, Russia, Sasha York is a founding member of the company and a key member of Ballet Nebraska. He regularly dances lead, soloist and featured roles in the company’s productions. Originally from Chelyabinsk, Russia, Sasha began his classical ballet training at the Paavola School of Dance in Flint, Michigan. Kelsey Schwenker is one of the original members of Ballet Nebraska, moving to Omaha in 2010 to dance as an apprentice at the newly formed ballet company. Kelsey received her training in classical ballet at Ballet Nouveau Colorado, where she danced for five years with their student company under the direction of Julia Wilkinson Manley.
