What goes into the rehearsal process for a diverse program of varied choreography such as Ballet Nebraska’s upcoming ‘Momentum’? A lot of hard work, attention to detail, careful coaching, demonstrations, a few laughs, and a lot of creative satisfaction, as you can see in this slide show of photos from a recent studio rehearsal. Ballet Nebraska II serves as a training ground for those highly motivated ballet dancers interested in pursuing a professional career in dance. These advanced dancers will be exposed to life in a professional ballet company, including audition, rehearsal, and performance opportunities. BN II members are selected by audition. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, June 15th at 7:30 pm and on Thursday, September 2nd at 8:00 pm at the Motion41 studios. Be prepared to demonstrate pointe work and performance quality. Good luck!
